On sunday, early morning, the authors joined the students from Nicolas Verstappen’s workshop at the EESI (European Image School) to work on some exercices and have a little chit chat all together.

38 people, 1 exercice, the loop.

One of the exercices proposed by Nicolas coming from a work he did with his design and architecture students at Chulalongkorn University (Thaïland) : some beautiful settings ready to be filled with several stories and timelines.

With colours, in black and white, or abstract… there is talent!

 

Since yesterday, the second step of  the Loop is on. Each one has to produce 3 pages connecting the previous propositions from 2 others authors.

Each author chose at least 1 character, 1 setting and 1 object among the elements selected before to create a short story in 4 pictures.

 

 

 

 

 

Everyone has randomly chosen and then drawn a character, an object, and a setting. After that and among all these drawings, the group voted those that would finally be used for the Loop’s story.
